Was glad when I saw they were touring, not so much when I saw the ticket prices.

17 tracks...somebody needs to go to jail for this

If you do a song this minimalistic, you better have the vocals to carry it and i don't think they carry it that well honestly. Not spicy enough and saying that about RHCP is quite unorthodox.

this song is more than just a preview

I couldn't get halfway through this song.

What’s the matter, Ian? You don’t like the half-assed attempt? Never half ass two things, whole ass one thing.
|
| |
I mean, John is right there! get him to do some vocals on the chorus and the song would be way better. Not sure why they're not playing to his strengths.

Song isn't awful, but it's too safe (especially for RHCP, which even in their lesser years have never played it very safe) and I agree w/ White, let john sing some harmonies here at least or something. I'd probably cut another verse/chorus and fit another john solo in there as well, or maybe some kind of bridge. I get that this song is trying to be chill/minimal but it still needs something
I'm more kind on RHCP than most, I even liked their last couple albums a good amount, but so far this album's songs are disappointing even to me. They made a big fuss about Black Summer coming out but I thought that song was average
