I'm tempted to cry, but I saw this coming.

Wow, that was really bad. Lyrics bad enough to match the vocals.

The solo sounds like they cut up bits of CoE and threw them together at random. This Message Edited On 09.18.07

It was okay, though nothing to make me think the album could possibly be anything more than a 3.5.

I was dissapointed a bit after hearing it the first time, an average track by A7X. Critical acclaim was much better.

What the fuck?
This sounded like linkin park in the verses, like mudvayne in the chorus and like a butchered City of Evil era A7X on the leads???

Why has no one told them that all these "new ideas" of theres just flat out suck? And why hasn't someone told shadows thats hes STILL singing with the wrong technique and that it sounds WORSE now?

Dissapointed is an understatement.

Yep, Critical Acclaim was much better, though it still isn't up to CoE and WtF standards.

It was ooooook... Critical Acclaim is better. I think the album but will be good but probably their weakest.

Hopefully they put their worst track out first. Im sure their smart guys. I have faith in the rest of the album,as of now.

Pretty dull. Not downright terrible like Critical Acclaim, but it doesn't really go anywhere.

It's alright for the most part. The chorus is catchy as hell.
I'm still excited for the full length release.

Critical Acclaim wasn't so much bad as it was completely unbelievable. Like, it was hard imagining anybody actually making such a song, except every thing was so obviously taken from somewhere else. They seem to be attempting to sound original or at least expand their influences. The music is far less commercially inclined than I suspected it would be although it's not for lack of trying (an under 4 minute song, poppy chorus, conventional song structures again) but seriously, this band is kind of a joke now. They should do more metalcore stuff.

Im banking on this being their worst track on the album. Im very dissapointed, that was nowhere near as technical, heavy, or even as catchy as anything theyve done in the past. boo.

Oh yeah, Critical Acclaim was slightly better, but for an A7X fan Im seriously dissapointedThis Message Edited On 09.18.07

I liked it.. Sure the older stuff was amazingly better, but I think I'll like the new album a lot

After seeing the live videos of this song, i was definitely more excited than after listening to this. This just sounds kind of bland. Really did not like the leads either.
I hate having to keep saying this, but we'll see.

Oh yeah...Matt's lyrics just keep getting worse. What gives? This Message Edited On 09.18.07

Better than Critical Acclaim but still not good. Youtube artwork looks like Goth Hentai.

Wow this record is not looking very promising so far. This is what they canceled a tour for? The double bass sounds ridiculous here and just about the only saving grace of the song is its chorus. The lead work was decent but they are capable of more. *sigh* I hope the rest of stuff on this record is better.

Personally I think that they're probably just putting out their poppy tracks out first. As much as they say this album isn't trying to get out in the mainstream, I'm sure for their sake they're realeasing their more "listenable" songs first. Critical Acclaim was a solid track in general, especially with The Rev's vocals on the chorus. From what I've read however, they're trying some new stuff on the other tracks...one of them is said to sound like a Mr. Bungle track...I'm excited to hear that. I don't know how they could make Bungle sound mainstream.

This one was okay, cool intro and mad catchy chorus, but really, this is a fucking single. Its GOT to be the worst on the album, all 4 CoE singles were the 4 worst on that album. Critical Acclaim was a good deal better.

I'm keeping my hopes up for this, I'm not expecting it to be fantastic, but hoping for it o be solid. I would enjoy more longer songs though, the longer ones on their previous albums were very good for the most part.

Pretty generic and bland IMO. Lyrics are definitely not the greatest.

Haven't we heard this song before...........by many other bands? This sounds like its going to be as bad as the new Atreyu album. Awful band, please try and write something original.

my opinion may be kind of left field seeing as how i HATE their first two discs, but love City of Evil.

i cant decide what i feel about this song. certainly Critical Acclaim was superior, but i do like the riff. i just hate the chorus.

I'm beginning to see why people say Shadows vocals suck. Overall the song is decent, but considerably worse then I was hoping.

Maybe it'll grow on me, Critical Acclaim did a bit.

Usually Shadows is a very good vocalist, in my opinion. Just in this song however, I'm not feeling it.

This is NOT metalcore. STST and WTF were metalcore, this ain't even close.

Both singles for this album have been intensely lackluster. I am a very worried fan...
