Oi, New William Ryan Key EP 2022-01-06 by jesper EMERITUS | 5 Comments | William Ryan Key (ex-Yellowcard) has released the second single off his upcoming EP Everything Except Desire. The song is titled 'Brighton' (which also happens to be a city in England) and resembles previous single 'Face In A Frame' by implementing more electronic flourishes than the musician has ever embraced before. Everything Except Desire releases February 11 and is the first new music under the WRK moniker in over three years.

Song is okay. I don't mind the transition from acoustic to electronic, but the melodies on this and "Face In A Frame" didn't really hold my interest.

Every post-hardcore ballad ever :
| | | i guess he's giving his voice a rest after all the reckless abandon he put on display w/ Yellowcard...it's innocuous but idk i feel like it's missing a spark
