Shit is trash
| |
heard this sux
| |
Making fuckin WWE entrance songs now I guess
| |
As the site’s resident Code Orange Defender, I’ve got mixed feelings here. Hope this is just a one-off. Love Reba’s guitar solo and the video is fun, but man this feels really dumbed down from the alt metal stuff from Underneath. Also that gunshot sound effect was cringe
| |
reba is the one part of this band i've still been a fan of in recent years but that solo is bad
| |
Dear lord lmfao
| |
WOO, that was terrible.
| |
Wow. This is Motionless In White tier butt rock trash
| |
Damn. The last album was tight, even the butt rock tracks were solid. This really is just bad.
| |
wtf is this shit lmao
| |
This is like ps1 dirt bike game OST level trash
| |
Now this is what it's like when worlds collide!!! (whoops, wrong song)
| |
I can tell this is like, not a great song. But it reminds me so much of my favorite bands from when I was in high school that I can't hate it, it's fun.
| |
lmao this is so bad
| |
Why bands are abandoning what makes them unique I will never understand. This is baaaaaad.
| |
I WANT TO GET INSIDE YOUR FAX MACHINE
| |
This shit is comedy
| |
no wonder kurt ballou stopped working with them
| |
This is really bad holy fuck.
| |
i felt my iq drop listening to this butt rock from 2003
| |
Very consistent band. They always disappoint
| |
whats weird is this band was so hype in like 2017-8 right? i saw so much about them and kept needing to get around to it.... turns out i grew out of this shit during the process i guess
is their old shit dope tho?
| |
dear lord, I expected it to be bad because it's this band but good god. That was absolutely horrendous
| |
Yesterday, I was listening to "No One Is Untouchable" and thought to myself...
"You coulda been a contender. You coulda been up there with Knocked Loose. But now, look at you"
| |
this is so fucking bad
| |
holy shit this is horrible, I wasn't huge on their last album but I was kinda into the whole fear factory type vibe it gave off in spots.. but this is just.. lol
| |
Can't believe Adventures died for this shit. The promos are some of the funniest i've ever fucking seen
| |
momentz yeah dude Forever and I am King slap. Some tracks off Underneath also slap like Rabbit, You and You Alone, Erasure Scan
This shit is fuckin silly tho
| |
I was never really a big fan of this band, but actually liked their last album. This is just so bad and derivative though...
botb's comment "This is like ps1 dirt bike game OST level trash" summed up my thoughts exactly
| |
Their last album was also silly but that was kind of its charm, and also went hard even on the softer songs. This song is admittedly growing on me but this beat here is so simple. Like compare the drums to the t/t to Underneath and this song, it’s night and day
| |
This shit is reminding me of Morbid Angel's Illud album lol
| |
they should go back in for blood
| |
Man what happened to these guys
| |
you could ask me a million times to blind react to this audio, my last guess would be code orange
| |
I skimmed this and wow expectations where not high because this bands always been tryhardy meathead hard-core to me. This is shitter then i could have imagined. At least bleeding into the blur is kinda okay.
| |
Song sucks. The red rubber suit is nice. Who do these people think they are now?
| |
Damn this is sick, way cooler than their other stuff iirc
| |
Maybe it's just the NIN stan in me, but this is awesome. Definitely more mainstream, but it reminds me of NIN's "No, You Don't" and I am here for that
| |
damn ok yeah thanks @don for the rec. ill see if i like the early stuff
| |
it's for the money right? like this is literally just their job?
| |
Its probably gone from a passion project to a now make as much as we can out of this project as possible
| |
Shit tier song, shit tier solo, shit tier vocals, shit tier lyrics.
I'm going to go listen to Love Is Love (Return To Dust) to reminisce.
| |
this shit has NIN influence written all over it, its catchy as hell i will give them that, its funny how Code Orange and FoH started out with that split ep, really went down different paths didnt they?
| |
@GarthAlgar I’m glad somebody in this thread likes this song. The hate this band gets from blowhards on this site and RYM is so annoying. I’m sorry but I don’t think people with 30+% black or death metal in their pie charts have any right to call Code Orange cringe
| |
Lol right? "this is silly" *listens to man scream about defiling a corpse*
| |
Young people here didn’t grow up on nu-metal. It was nostalgic, with Blade vibes and singer sounded like Fear Factory.
| |
"this shit has NIN influence written all over it"
yeah, like all the "industrial metal" bands that emerged on the second half of the 90's after NIN became mainstream. It sounds nothing like NIN but they think they're sounding like NIN because they're doing some heavy guitar riffs with some lazy distorted synthesizers. NIN we had at home.
| |
@ballstothewall I grew up on nu metal and I think this song is horrible
| |
"this shit has NIN influence written all over it"
this shit has Powerman 5000 influence written all over it. Spineshank at best.
| |
I’m too tired, was it a good song? No? Did i enjoy it? Yes!
| |
So bad lol
| |
Jesus man that was a mess. How can anyone approve this?
| |
Ah, fun song. A lot of people need to lighten up, too much self seriousness in the world, I get it, I like the “cool” music, too, but you can chill.
| |
Lol. If they’re getting paid as full time musicians I guess there’s no harm. I’d take the ‘hardcore’ label off now though. I’d reckon a couple of them probably are a bit embarrassed to release something like this.
| |
imagine thinking this is even good nu metal. this song can be used to wipe the ass of korn's first album.
| |
wooooooooooooof code orange wyd
| |
I didn’t say it was good but still enjoy it, although mostly for nostalgia from a simpler time.
| |
this brings me back to 2000s shitty radio rock. thats about all im getting from this
| |
Hated the song, but Reba is SO HOT
| |
This and Northlanes latest, fuck it, they do whatever they feel like so I respect that.
| |
Can I have Adventures back plz
| |
"Ah, fun song. A lot of people need to lighten up, too much self seriousness in the world, I get it, I like the “cool” music, too, but you can chill."
This. It's okay, guys. We can like different music.
| |
not good.
| |
shit sucks
| |
I like Code Orange a lot, but there is this undeniable sense of pretentiousness/we're better than you vibe that comes with them. Also tired of the tough guy schtick, we're so badass and more intense than everyone else attitude.
| |
@goblin its their vocalist. Watching his interview at Knotfest LA... I got the impression he's just a massive tool that sincerely believes he's the next Corey Taylor
| |
Mike portnoy’s son is playing drums for them now lmfao
| |
20 years ago this would’ve been a numetal hit
| |
@botb Real shit?
| |
You're right, botb. Hardcore/Metalcore is a community that should be about raising each other up and Jami talking about how much better they are then everyone is kind of lame.
| |
So bad.
| |
You were
Motherfucker, I am.
| |
“Can I have Adventures back plz”
it took way too long for someone to bring this up. Where all the emo homies at
| |
chales wey i saw em back in '13 with TWIABP, Pity Sex, and Dads
| |
As much as I love this band, I do think their whole "The Last REAL Ones Left" schtick can only get them so far without backfiring on them, Jami especially
| |
SLOWWWW DOWNNNN AND SEEEEE THE GREEEEEEEN
| |
did the bassist get Bell's palsy?
| |
You guys remember Sworn In?
| |
I do know the bassist got an injury in his hand that disabled his index finger
| |
This steaming turd of a track got the solo and lyrics it deserves. Is he actually serious with that machismo horse shit? This also sounds nothing like NIN. It’s like something Spineshank threw on the cutting room floor.
| |
their best song yet
| |
This is what Roadrunner Records does to a mf.
| |
Band had always been wack tbh this isn't even surprising
| |
This is absolute garbage
| |
Band has always been trash
| |
lmao this actually slaps what are yall on about
| |
It’s laughably bad, flug.
| |
what in the absolute fuck is this. it's like listening to three days grace's former singer using so much elements to blast their music out of control, and the result is...this. honestly, a fucking 1/10.
| |
B...but it's supposed to sound like shit, bro. They always wanted to sound like this.
| |
you guys are laughing now but this will be vein.fm in about two years
| |
Mariachi Slipknot > Vein.fm
| |
why did you all have to remind me this exists
| |
lolololol
this video/song is still so funny to me. literally couldn't believe what i was witnessing when this dropped
| |
Please bring JNCO's back.
| |
great industrial metal banger
| |
Now that I know this is just a standalone single and not part of an album I think this is really funny. I still don't think it's good necessarily but it's so goofy I can't hate it. With this and the The Hurt Will Go On ep it's hard to say the level self-awareness this band is at with their own music, but at a certain point that question stops mattering to me and I just embrace the cheese. I have to admire how much this band refuses to wink at the camera
