Good song
| |
slapper
| |
Video is dope
| |
not as good as colossal wreck/desperate pleasures, but this will still bang live. get hyped
| |
Song rules. Album will rule. m/
| |
Song gets good at the breakdown.
| |
Such a bop, guaranteed to get the crowd going at live shows.
So pumped for the album, will inevitably rule m/
| |
sounds like the two summers of the new album, but better probs
| |
Not as good as the previous 3 but still solid
| |
im a little underwhelmed by this honestly but such is the cost of a 16 track album. still expecting to love the majority of the record tho
| |
oh my god i vowed to not check the singles but rather wait for the album for the full effect and you are making it REALLY difficult sputnikmusic news
| |
Oh cool
| |
Riffs in this rule hard.
| |
Rules hard as expected. Ready for the album
| |
song gets good at the bass intro
| |
Song gets good at the breakdown. [2]
I like that singy bridge immediately after as well
| |
> slapper
[x2]
can't wait for this. a lot of metalcore has been disappointing lately but i have high hopes for this record
| |
I was gonna say breakdown was the most phoned in part and everything else was just wild
| |
i love this band so i wish i could hop aboard the hype train over this track but i think its only gotten worse for me with repeated jams :/ there's just no real cohesion to my ear between the verse/chorus/bridge. sounds like a haphazard mix of three different songs and for a track this clean heavy, the only melody of keiths i can get behind is the one in the bridge. i realllly am not feeling that chorus
it happens tho every other song they've dropped from this have been incredible so w/e
| |
Fantastic
| |
does anyone know who they got to produce this one
| |
Will Putney
| |
they got putney again
edit: damn lol jay beat me by like a second
| |
O cool i dig Wills prod work, still holding out for the album to drop tho >:D
| |
heart shaped box is a great song
| |
putney owns he already did a good job for em on low teens and has only gotten better at his craft since then imo
| |
b oring
| |
Keith said that this is the least heavy song on the album
| |
this kinda sucks honestly
| |
Song's alright, the video is great.
| |
The clean sung bridge is definitely my favorite part, but yeah overall this is the weakest of the 4. Still a nice tune tho, and I'm sure they'll pull thru with the rest of the album.
| |
Weakest of the 4 for sure but imo that was still pretty great and groovy.
| |
Not as good as AWOL but still great
| |
Southern Fried Chicken core
| |
Finger lickin' good.
| |
Love the song, just like the last 3 released. ETID never let me down. Plus with 16 songs, this is going to massive! AOTY incoming!
| |
just grateful to finally have a release date for this thing
| |
I liked this better than Desperate Pleasures but worse than the other two
| |
Thoss different vocal tones Keith is hitting are entrancing
| |
Isn’t this kind of a departure for them? Very commercial and lot of clean vocals for ETID. That was like a pop-punk section after the breakdown. Not hating though because I liked the song. Sounds like Greyhaven.
| |
Not very good, especially by their standards, but the other singles rip gimme the album now
| |
yeah this is the worst of the 4 singles but the other 3 are absolutely insane so i'm still hyped
| |
This guy has such a unique vocal. I love it
| |
"Isn’t this kind of a departure for them? Very commercial"
what a shout. Please wake me up in a world where ETID and Greyhaven are commercial / widely popular
| |
"Isn’t this kind of a departure for them? Very commercial and lot of clean vocals for ETID. That was like a pop-punk section after the breakdown. Not hating though because I liked the song. Sounds like Greyhaven."
lmao hell no. this song is more like influenced by their we'rewolf days with some Life of Agony influence
| |
It sounds commercial for ETID. Like New Junk/Gutter Phenomenon did at times but even more than that. Not commercial in general.
| |
i don't really get that. they have singing on every album
| |
Wondering if I wanna see them UO and Spiritbox next spring
| |
^ how is that a 'wondering'? im looking it up rn lol..
| |
i take my foot out of my mouth. nearly 200$ for 2 tickets.....
| |
$100 a ticket for that? fuck all the way off.
| |
these guys are all pushing 40+ by now so the angsty lyrics and punkish atmosphere are pretty cringe at this point, they need to be singing more about adult things like the occupation of palestine and their 401k
| |
k
| |
having angst after you are 26 or thereabouts means you are a beatnik or weed addict
| |
or you write poetry
| |
was there angsty lyrics? i wouldn't know as i don't listen to what is actually being said with 99% of music
| |
slow down guys. $100 tix are just the underoath VIP ones, GA tix for the tour are like $40 for and go on sale Friday
| |
I would pay that if Underoath plays zero songs from the new album and erase me
| |
I would pay that to hear Disambiguation front to back
Also maybe you're right Storm I guess cleans have been present in most of their albums, but I listen to Hot Damn very disproportionately which barely has any singing haha
| |
babyyyy you've got me all wrong. that is just like beyond catchy compared to all their other stuff
| |
Deff the weakest of the tracks released so far for me, seems more like a Damned Things track than ETID tbh. Still dig it tho
| |
Damned Things first album is a solid 5 out of 5
| |
love this band but im not feeling this track : /
| |
i'm feeling this track, mr krabs
| |
This really isnt anything too special or crazy, just ETID doing the usual ETID shit...but its catchy so I dig it.
| |
Although I don't like the "my annihilation"s, the song has grown on me. So I listened to all 4 new songs consecutively and this has strong potential to be their best album.
| |
Video is great song is ok
| |
I like the song, usually like their songs. its a good song.
| |
well said, Shakespeare
| |
The line "I broke my own heart trying to forgive myself" is prophetic in its simplicity, I vibe with that so hard these days
| |
All the new songs breakdowns are filthy. The ending to “Colossal Wreck” is insane
| |
^^^ mostly excited for the riffs / breakdowns
| |
I'm very happy that the acquisitions of age and family hasn't slowed or quieted them. I hope they're in their 50s doing the same music.
| |
Post-Boredom accurately describes the state of mind that immediately follows listening to a new ETID album
| |
“AWOL” band practice

That was thrilling
| |
Goose is a BEAST behind those drums
| |
Second listen a few weeks later, holy shit I actually cried a little listening to this song. ETID is life.
| |
letsfuckingo

Going to one of the Austin shows in November, apisuarfgjiolernoernoqerner
