honestly the more i think about it, how did no one in the van not notice? and if he was as fucked up as he had to have been to do this, why would they have let him drive? man i love OWTH but this whole thing is fucked.

just some conjecture here but if they were indeed intoxicated they probably DID notice (you dont just fucking hit shit with a car and not notice), panicked and tried to hit n run, then were forced to stop when they realised she was dragging and they couldn't exactly run from the terrible situation.

Story update.

Just after midnight on Saturday October 12, Off With Their Head’s bassist, Robbie Swartwood was involved in a gruesome accident which resulted in a young woman’s severe obstruction to her face. In a statement from Sergeant Aaron Roed of the Vancouver Police Department, it was confirmed what many social media speculators have already estimated. There is video evidence of Desiree Evancio (24) crossing the street between the band’s van and trailer while at a stop. This went unnoticed by the driver, and she was then dragged for several city blocks once the vehicle resumed motion. While authorities quickly made the scene, early witness reports have described a trail of blood down the street, which made it apparent this was no ordinary accident.

so she walked between the van and the trailer, the van started moving on her, and she got pinned under the trailer. i can understand how no one in the van knew she was back there. this whole situation is so unfortunate.

Yeah, it's shitty. The pedestrian makes one bad decision, walking between a van and trailer, and now has affected so many people.
Will be interesting to hear OWTH's side of the story, when everything settles down.
