I don't think they'll ever go back to the Grand Declaration style, which is easily my favorite (they don't even have the same guitar player anymore), but this is still sounding pretty good.

The writing on this is so close to De Mysteriis that I'm not convinced the songs they've released so far aren't leftovers from that era that never got released for whatever reason.

Ugh these singles are so disappointing. Esoteric Warfare was incredible and unique and this is just DMDS but less good.

Can't see myself ever revisiting this song. I was hoping they would build on the sound they had going on Esoteric Warfare. Loved that album. Will jam the album regardless. I'll have to go check the first single now

Compared to their last couple albums, the production is pretty bare bones though. The drums sound pretty similar to DMDS but with slightly less reverb
