2019 belongs to tobin
| |
I like this more than most of the last album.
| |
hoping the album is more in line with this. Fear is a trip but if i have a choice i prefer more structured / direct tobin (if there is such a thing)
| |
I like where this is going. He really is a master. Can't wait.
| |
Mmm, feels like supermodified tobin
| |
Struggling with 'Fear' yet enjoy some of his older works. This should be interesting at least.
| |
never heard this guy but this was very nice. where should i start?
| |
Halfman, Foley Room is pretty close in sound to this single. For his older stuff, Bricolage is a good starting point.
| |
If you like the soundscape and are down with more ambient stuff fear in a handful of dust is the other album of his from this year and sounds just like this minus the kick drum lol
| |
Sweet. Thanks guys!
| |
This feels like it's going to be the Yang of FiaHoD's Ying.
| |
yeah pretty on the nose with that judging from the artwork and the single
| |
He's got a lot to fill on the other side... to not make it seem like a b-side. But like I've said, this guy is a master. Going to be hard to find him lazy.
| |
another new track just released "Full Panther"
| |
I love how he makes the seemingly simple feel nuanced.
| |
its all the imperfections he's embracing with this turn in direction. he's spoken on it himself and it kind of affirms my feelings that the thing ISAM was missing was that embrace of decay. ISAM was a perfectionist album, this pair he seems to have let go of that a bit and I appreciate it a lot
| |
This definitely feels like he's diving deeper into the world of ISAM. I don't know of any album that can encompass an entire human being. He'd be putting out albums for eternity, but I'm glad to see genuine frequency.
