Kyary Pamyu Pamyu grows beard

2019-05-10 by Johnny[Well] CONTRIBUTOR | 17 Comments
Queen of decora Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has released the music video for her new single, KIMIGA IINE KURETARA. Despite seeing her early '10s popularity slump somewhat over the last few years, the song smacks of her trademark saccharine charm, and the video sees her sport a beard, dish out a KPP (that's kick-punch-punch) combo in a Mortal Kombat-style animation, and appear as a sim.

CN: Glittery confetti and sparkly synths.

kero kero bonito are cool but there's not really a comparison to be made there other than both being vaguely bubblegum

"this is better than around half the tracks on revolution imo" :O I couldn't get into anything she did after that. The gimmick wore off for me pretty quick.

Kyary has always been my least favorite of Nakata's projects, but it's okay I guess.

That's weird and shameful to admit it considering I stopped last Whitechapel's album to listen to this song, but I like it
