I really like this, musically, but "phones are bad" songs are so overdone. Lyrics very nearly ruin this.

| |
yeah hopefully not all the lyrics follow suit, but damn, musically i love everything these guys do.
|
| |
Fuck yes.
|
| |
smooth
|
| |
We want The Tide V2.0
|
| |
sounds like a Pure In The Plastic b-side. not complaining
|
| |
yeah, I looove pure in the plastic
|
| |
Not as good as anything I've heard before, but solid enough. Really like these dudes.
|
| |
@OwMySnauze I don't think Jack Burns is doing music anymore so probably not gonna happen ever.
|
| |
just glad these guys are still around

glad to hear some actual instrumentation in this song. loved their last album but i felt like it was definitely missing strings.
|
| |
^ agreed. OBPL had so much great organic instruments
|
| |
just wish i knew why this is an EP and not a full-length. Pretty sure they flew to europe to record this or some shit lol
|
| |
I'm a fan of phones, pretty happy they exist to be honest.
|
| |
It's pretty neat, but the last record had a pretty intoxicating lush and exuberant tone that is gonna be hard to top for me.
|
| |
same! I remain hopeful, but something out PitP just clicked so quick
|
| |
sounds great, lyrics leave much to be desired, but god if they aren't great musicians.
PS: NO ONE wants The Tide 2.0
|
| |
That dude comments on every polyenso news article with the same shit. He's apparently content to rot on his hill
|
| |
Christ, you're not kidding. Even 4 articles ago someone said "Can you not post this in every thread revolving around this band?"
|
| |
and the funny thing is, that dude only gave The Tide a 3.5 lmaooo
|
| |
Im so glad I caught this, I probably would have never have known until I looked on their facebook page.
|
| |
Lyrics are horrible.

as someone who really took a lot from the lyrics on birtheater, clean head, OBPL, and PITP (only sometimes), agreed
|
| |
Shit... I'd love The Tide 2.0
Oceana's The Tide & Of Machine's As if Everything Was Held in Place are two timeless post-hardcore albums with incredible atmosphere that I still spin to this day.
Polyenso is cool enough on their own though.
|
| |
See? I’m not the only one
|
| |
as if everything were held in place >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the tide
completely different levels
|
| |
another new song "Bastard"
