Snoop Dogg arrested 2006-04-27 by Iai EMERITUS | 15 Comments | Snoop Dogg and 5 members of his entourage have found themselves in jail for an incident yesterday at London's Heathrow Airport. Murder's not the case; rather, violent disorder and affray. The 6 were arrested earlier today.
Seven police officers were injured by Snoop's crew after the star was refused entry to the first-class lounge. It is reported that the group hit the duty-free and began throwing bottles of whisky at the staff. Amusingly, no guns were involved.
Snoop, unsurprisingly, was not allowed onto his flight (to South Africa) by the Metropolitan police. This led to a minor scuffle, where 'a number of the group became abusive and pushed officers'. Seven officers left with cuts, bruises, and various other superficial injuries.
Needless to say, Snoop Dogg's scheduled gig in South Africa later tonight has been cancelled.
