I've always found good morning revival an interesting album even though it is critically panned.

I loved these guys when I was 16, by 17 I grew out of them. Youth Authority was bad but it was a nice throwback for me, these new tracks don't even hit me through my nostalgia goggles

Don't really get the hate. Shadowboxer is a good song. I'll probably never listen to the album, but there's to few guitar driven bands out there as it is. Don't hate on the few that are still going and didn't pull a 30 Seconds To Mars.

I wouldn't really call either of these songs "guitar driven". I mean yeah there's guitars but they don't do much at all. Also agreed with sempiturtle, there's plenty of guitar driven bands out there. Maybe not in the pop world, but they're out there.

As for the songs themselves, the second one isn't terrible. Definitely not my thing at all but I guess some people might enjoy it.
