Taking after their previous record "Every Trick in the Book", the upcoming LP is another concept album, this time featuring songs based on classic horror films. The band have also released a new music video for the album's lead single, "The American Nightmare", based on Wes Craven's classic slasher film A Nightmare on Elm Street. Check out the full video here (Song starts at 4:04):

It was better than most of the last album at least, and Spencer sounds phenomenal as usual. I still don't think the horror route is something they should've taken, it's so dated and cheesy

Guitar riffs are awesome and Spencer's vocals are still on point, the song itself is alright; there's definitely better tracks from Every Trick in the Book.

Hmmm...Solid songwriting but why does the production sound like a Sturgis job?

The chorus was a little flat but i liked most of what they had going on. Some guitar leads that were missing from the last album, bigger breakdowns like that one in the middle that was pretty cool, verse vocals were tight. Little sick of the gimmicky horror concept which is novel on paper, but not so great in execution. It's also the same thing they did on the last album so it's just kinda boring.
