Zao to release new material

Metalcore group Zao will be revealing new material after a six-year wait on July 2, 2015. It will be able to be digitally streamed and will be released on an upcoming 7" vinyl, entitled Xenophobe / Fear Itself.

The track 'Xenophobe' will be premiered on July 2, 2015 exclusively through Decibel Magazine at approximately 3pm EST.

It will stream at the following URL:
http://decibelmagazine.com

Zao's official BandCamp page will be streaming both tracks from the release date of July 10, 2015 at the following URL:
http://officialzao.bandcamp.com/album/xenophobe-fear-itself

The limited run of 7" vinyl for the tracks can be pre-ordered from the band's BandCamp page now.

I like Awake but it lacked energy and too many cleanly-sung choruses that kind of took away from the visceral aspect of the band. The Fear Is What Keeps Us Here was tight though, this track makes me think of that.

Yeah, it's definitely more in line with that album. It might just be the hype getting to me, but I still think this is better than anything on that album too.
