This is more badass than anything on Awake

Easily. Well, better than the half of Awake that I listened to anyway.

I like Awake but it lacked energy and too many cleanly-sung choruses that kind of took away from the visceral aspect of the band. The Fear Is What Keeps Us Here was tight though, this track makes me think of that.

Yeah, it's definitely more in line with that album. It might just be the hype getting to me, but I still think this is better than anything on that album too.
