A little too short for a double disc don't you think?
| |
Hyped as fuck.
| |
Wonder how that 18 min track will play out
| |
Its 92 minutes, how the fuck is it too short?
| |
"A little too short for a double disc don't you think?"
um it's 92 minutes
| |
holy fuck
| |
last 4 tracks all have "of" in the title lol
| |
hyped as fuck [2]
| |
YES!!!
| |
Rubbish artwork but yes hyped.
| |
I'm pumped
| |
m/
| |
And the saga of long albums continues. Just hope the production is better.
| |
Hell yes. All the post Dickinson/Smith reunion albums rule
| |
Damn, I should probably check out more Iron Maiden but I'm curious to see how this turns out
| |
Sounds like the most epic album ever made, am hoping they really go overboard with the progressive metal approach they've recently been taking.
| |
artwork lacks imagination
| |
oh yes
| |
I'm kinda wary of lengthy or double metal releases tbh. hope this one proves me wrong.
| |
I really want to listen to Empire Of The Clouds
| |
hell yeahh
| |
Damn, iirc Empire Of The Clouds will probably be Maiden's longest song yet.
| |
Stoked!
| |
"A little too short for a double disc don't you think?"
a CD fits 80 minutes
| |
It will be solid but too long. Like all of their albums after BNW
| |
Holy fuck. This is amazing. Not to mention that the song titles are really nice sounding and promising af. Cover art is a bit meh, but who cares. It's dark, it's Eddie, it's Maiden. FUCKING MAIDEN CUNTS! UP THE IRONS!
Also... Ahem... *clears throat*... Fortunately the news are close to the event, we don't have to wait a year or so for this...
| |
Another song named after a Bruce solo song? First the Alchemist, now Man of Sorrows
| |
The artwork is atrocious
| |
How can this band still have enough musical ideas at this stage in their career to fill a double album? That's nuts
| |
Eddie as a red eyed witch doctor of the Congo?
Interesting concept. Just wish he was doing something more interesting on the cover.
The album itself sounds interesting though. I love Maiden as much as the next guy so I look forward to this.
| |
This could do with another 20 minutes of runtime.
| |
i think the artwork is pretty good
| |
Yeah, I kinda dig it
| |
sweet news, looking forward to hear this
| |
o/
| |
Already know this is gonna be my 2nd favourite aoty
| |
not a big Maiden fan but gotta respect a double LP this far into their career.
| |
Hope it doesn't turn out watered down due to it being a double album
| |
breddy good :DDD
very hyped though
| |
garbage
| |
Kinda worried bout the length of this one but still excited regardless
| |
Awesome, see how it turns out.
| |
artwork sucks but the album should be awesome.
| |
Fuck yes! Even if the last album was pretty average.
| |
ayy sweet
| |
from sputnik's stupid thumbnail preview I thought the cover art looked dumb
but after looking at a larger version I've decided I like it a lot
| |
"a CD fits 80 minutes"
78 actually
| |
Too excited for words
| |
Based on the length of the songs, it sounds like they're staying with their recent prog-infused sound, which has produced their greatest albums since the 80s so far. So yeah, this is definitely promising
| |
"a CD fits 80 minutes"
78 actually
That must depend on something surely, since I have a bunch of CD's longer than 78 minutes and you can fit slightly over 80 on some blank media
| |
Hyped as fuck!!!
Also I think the album art is creepy as hell for the sole reason that it's just Eddie, just... staring into your soul.
| |
wish the artwork just had a background. It beats Dance of Death for sure though. I haven't been this hyped for an album possibly ever.
| |
gonna be a hard 3.5-4.0
| |
might rule
| |
Looking forward to this. Excited for the long songs
| |
is it time for a Maiden Nostradamus?
don't know, wish they put out a 40 minute metal rocker
| |
Maiden is going full Dream Theater with the song length's.
| |
hype
| |
I'm a bit skeptical about the lengths. I was hoping for a shorter, snappier, more energetic maiden albums like the old days. Still I'm looking forward! Artwork is kinda weak though, especially for a maiden album, could do with a better background

Gonna be great.
| |
Instantly hyped, but cover art is generic as hell. Anyone else notice all the old school metal bands making albums this year? Venom, Helloween, Motörhead, Slayer, and now Iron Maiden?
| |
happy days
| |
Haha, very true.
| |
the songtitles sound so fucking uninspired...
| |
Hopefully Bruce sounds a bit stronger this time. Despite TFF's awesomeness, there were moments when his voice just sounded shot.
| |
I can't think of so few songs being spread across a double-CD since Lulu.
My anger management group leader friendly suggests not elaborating further.
| |
lol
| |
needs more Derek Riggs
| |
So on average each track going to be around 8mins+. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeitttt.
| |
"Anyone else notice all the old school metal bands making albums this year? Venom, Helloween, Motörhead, Slayer, and now Iron Maiden"
With the exception of Venom, things are pointing to 2015 being a great year for classic(ish) bands
| |
LepreCon....
Raven, Manilla Road, Virgin Steele, Metal Church (Mike Howe is back!), Armored Saint....
| |
whole lotta Christian themes in those song titles
| |
ProjectFreak
That's what people said about Dream Theater's Train of Thought, and only one songs has any real mention of god. Only Shadows of The Valley seems christiany, the rest seems to be about death, which is fitting for the possible final Maiden album.
