Didn't really listen to the lyrics so maybe those are awesome. But I've certainly heard worse MM dance tracks. Many, many worse.

1. I view Sad Sappy Sucker as less of a MM release and more of Isaac fucking around on his own
accord.
2. Dance Hall is an amazing Pixies-esque song
3. This song feels like a b-side from Good News that wasn't even good enough for the "No One's
First" compilation. Doesn't help that the lyrics make me cringe.

Like We Were Dead, I'm hoping this is the "Dashboard" of the record and their lead single because everything else is less marketable and more traditional quirky MM.

I just relistened to Long Drive and the only throwaway stuff is Might and Dog Paddle the rest is gold, so Good News is their only album with a little too much filler

Groove starts out alright but then gets annoying fast

would have liked to hear a progression in there sound. it's been while guys, and this sounds like it could fit right on their last album

The funky guitar is kinda like that one on "Lounge (Closing Time)". its catchy as hell yeah. But variety = zero and lyrics = generic. still 7/10 and nothing disappointing at all. could fit in the context of the album really well
