Pain of Salvation tour

2014-07-17 by OmairSh | 15 Comments
Progressive metal band Pain of Salvation have announced a number of shows in the US and Canada for the month of September. This represents the first tour after band leader Daniel recovered from a flesh-eating bacteria infection that had hospitalised him for months.

Daniel commented on his first performance after being released from the hospital at the Sweden Rock Festival, and this tour:

"It feels great to be back on stage. I couldn't recall the last time I felt so nervous before a gig, but it was pure magic to explode on stage with the others in the band after these hard months. I'm back. We're back, and we're coming with a vengeance to North America this September!"

Well you can thank your lucky stars!

According to wiki, Daniel was against the finger-printing policy of the Bush government for all
travellers, and when
Obama removed that requirement he was cool with coming.

Yeah it will be, and we know that Daniel will change the direction. Perhaps more introspective music after his illness? Or maybe he's found a new appreciation for life and pulls a Weather Systems on our asses. Either way it'll be better than Scarsick at least

yeah, Scarsick is not among those I will consider POS classics, or even excellent. But, god, how I enjoy Disco Queen!

Disco Queen is a hard ass jam. LET'S DISCO!!! These are the kind of balls more progressive metal songwriters need to have, writing music that's not within the comfort zone, or not even close to it.
