I love this band and was lucky enough to see them many times first time around but I am bored of all these cash-money reunions for festivals.

New about this since like November when they got announced for Download

In fairness to them when they broke up they said they didn't actually want to do anything of the sort and it was because they had no money that they had no choice but to break up, and that one day they would return. As it happens their style of music got really big and they got more recognition as one of the forerunners of the scene and now they might have a chance to finally make a sustainable living doing what they love. It's not milking it by any means, it's just doing something they used to love doing because they actually have the chance to do it now.

Actually they broke up because Mikee and Justin left and no one cared about the band without them (or in their words, they couldn't find a suitable replacement).


Reuniting for a festival always means a paycheck. Earthtone9 did it right. Sikth, as much as I love/d them should stay dead.

There better be a new album.
