Wow, this sound is so friggin dated. Not sounding good as their last album either. Album art is stupid, reminds me of that damn Nintendo glove like you battle in Super Smash Bros

Painfully unoriginal but not as bad as I expected. I never even liked them before so no care regardless. I probably won't check the album.

Of course it's not going to be as good as Music For The Recently Deceased, but it's nice to hear new metalcore that isn't awful like We Came as Romans and I See Stars

This is pretty bad. I enjoyed the intro or whatever but once the song got going it was soooo boring. And yeah the vocals really do blow. I never got into these guys so I can't say I'm disappointed.

Everybody seems to be complaining that it sounds too much like their older stuff...but what did you expect?

Metalcore? Say no more.

I agree with other people, the vocals in this band have been terrible from the get-go.

Jona Weinhofen rules so its ok [2]

The band will do a lot better in my book if they stick to harsh vocals - like this song - because them cleans were always cringe worthy imo.

Apparently everyone thought that a shitty metalcore band was gonna make a comeback as an innovative leader in modern day music.

Riffs had that 2008 metalcore thing goin on which was fun. The vocal arrangement was cringey though, even for 2008.

they should have just left the band a thing of the past. At least that way some people would remember them fondly.

I would even go as far as to say they purposely made the vocals weak in an attempt to recreate their old sound

Why are people complaining that I Killed The Prom Queen sounds like I Killed The Prom Queen. [2]

Parkway Drive essentially did the same thing for 3 albums (you can argue the latest one tried new things) and I didn't even care.

These guys are a little more love-it-or-hate-it but if it ain't broke don't fix it. I'm glad they ditched the clean vocals so I don't have to ease up on my air guitar when the chorus comes on or stand around when I'm hardcore dancing in my living room by myself

Not bad, won't be music for the recently deceased but thats ok. and who ever's saying they should have stayed dead you gotta remember that a lot of people are still down to see them play shows and even release new beats nigga.

I'm glad they ditched the clean vocals

They posted a clip from a song that had clean vocals, so they're still there. 3 or 4 songs from their last album had no cleans, so it's not like they're doing anything different.

Anyways, the vocals aren't perfect, but I feel like this is the closest guy to Ed Butcher that they could have found, which is good. It wouldn't sound like Prom Queen if they had a different sounding vocalist.
