Chinese Democracy Is Finished

2007-02-22 by Rokken Like Dokken | 19 Comments
In a post on Guns N' Roses' band website, tour manager and official spokesperson Del James has revealed that the group's long-awaited fourth studio album Chinese Democracy has finally left the hands of leader Axl Rose and is being mixed and mastered for a release later this year.

Reads the webpost: "The good news is that all of the recording for the album has been completed. Drummer Frank Ferrer and guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal integrated themselves into the recordings seamlessly and will have their presence felt.

"There is no official release date, as the band is currently mixing, but after some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along.

Take care,

Del James"

I never particulrly liked the original GNR although I do like alot of thier songs. But for some reason I will be buying this for pure interest...this could...could...be good. Maybe.

Good news.

Can't wait to hear the record, out of pure interest, and because I think it will be good.

It's about time.

BUT of course...they still have to do some mixing, so add another 2 years onto the album

Yes! I can't wait to hear it when it's out. It's just too bad it won't feature Slash or any member who played in Appetite for Destruction.

Axel Rose hasn't been crushed by his self-inflated ego yet?

however good it is, its been too long a wait, meaning critics will shred it to parts. and because of that axl will probably hopefully give up forever.
