Grip Inc. reunite 2013-04-11 by Voivod STAFF | 10 Comments | During an interview for the Greek webzine Rock Overdose and in view of Philm's recent live concerts in Greece, Dave Lombardo revealed that he is reuniting Grip Inc..
The band was formed shortly after Lombardo's first departure from Slayer in the early '90s, featuring acclaimed producer/guitarist Waldemar Sorychta (Voodoocult), punk-based vocalist Gus Chambers (R.I.P. - The Squad, 21 Guns) and bassist Jason Viebrooks (ex-Heathen). Grip Inc. recorded four albums of modern thrash metal between 1995 and 2004.
According to Lombardo, Casey Chaos from Amen will undertake vocal duties in the new lineup, with a tour - and quite possibly a new album - being in the works.

| | | as much i love what they did, i find this a little disgusting,
of all the retaliations to King's assery, why did he choose the least King most, fan offending?
| | | that's very cool news.
Although I'm sure as hell gonna miss Gus Chambers
| | | Awesome, incorporated was incredible.
| | | Cool. Lombardo drumming was AWESOME while Grip lasted
| | | Casey fronting Grip Inc? Hmmmmm... IDK. His style is very different from Gus's. They were pretty good though, so yay I guess.
