Ten Years After guitarist Alvin Lee died yesterday (March 6th 2013) due to complications during a scheduled routine
surgery at the age of 68.

This is terrible news. Truly a master guitar player and very humble guy. RIP

A very talented guitarist indeed, I might want to check out more of his stuff sometime. RIP.

"I can't say he's been a huge influence on my playing, but he was a master"
Yeah, he could play as fast as anyone but his phrasing was also great. For anyone who wishes to listen
to a song of his, 'The Bluest Blues' is awesome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apzNkhqkF8U
