It seems "Puppy" has stagnated a bit and slipped into a repetitive musical style and song titles. The last 2 albums could easily pass for Ogre solo releases instead of true Skinny Puppy fair. That being said, there are still gems to be found such as "Vyrusis" from "Handover" and "Magnifishit" and "JaHer" from "Mythmaker". I'm anticipating more of the same with "Weapon". Not expecting much but hoping for the best.

I love JaHer and Magnifishit (Haze and Pedafly rule too) from Mythmaker. HanDover has some great songs too, such as Village, Gambatte, Icktums and Point, but yeah, it does sound more like an Ogre record. I don't mind if they keep this lighter direction, but they could make a more noisy record.

Some of you guys are crazy, Greater Wrong was average but everything else they have made was great. So the new style since the reformation doesnt sound like your being raped in hell, Its still solid music with solid lyrics non the less. As a fan from 1991, I think some of the newer stuff on Handover and Mythmaker is better then the older 80's albums tbh.
