Apparently she was pissed about Saturday night when she was sick and the rest of the band went on and played the show with replacement singers...aka the two female singers from Kamelot's new single. Don't you think she would learn from Tarja's experience that no one person is bigger than the band (aside from Tuomas of course lol)

Really sad news, Anette's voice totally fits nowadays NW, and the reasons are at the very least hilarious.
However the idea of NW and Floor together...oh man. Both parts win, she gets herself a really good band instead of that shitty revamp, and NW gets a singer with more than enough talent and versatility to forget both Tarja and Anette.

Never checked out Oceanborn man? It's a great album. Probably the only one in their discog worth checking out (Wishmaster is OK too).
I'd listen to a new Nightwish album if Floor was on it.

Feels like deja vu.
I like both era's of Nightwish. I love Oceanborn and Wishmaster but both Century Child and Once saw Tarja using less of her operatic voice and more of a standard rock/pop style of vocals anyway so the transition from Tarja to Anette didn't throw me through a loop like it seemed to for most other Nightwish fans.
I think Dark Passion Play is among their finest releases if not their crowning achievement in many ways, regardless of who was behind the mic. Anette did pretty well and her voice suited the music most of the time, it did have a few awkward clashes though.
As for their latest I do enjoy it but I find it to be a lesser quality version of DPP.
Anyway here we go again. Hope the next album is good and the new vocalist suits the band. I don't give a crap if she's smoking hot or is completely fugly.
