That middle section sounded really Slipknot-y.

| |
not the one it deserves
| |
Da fuq?

It really irks me when a band like this self-titles a record. It irks me when anyone does it, but for a band with very little creative imagery, it makes it feel all the more bland. Song was alright.
| |
Phil Bozeman is the only person I like from this band.
| |
fucking stoked
| |
Song ruled
| |
YOU WILL NEVER FUCK AGAIN
| |
sounds sick.
| |
cool song
| |
song was alright
| |
They are getting better with each release
| |
the song was actually pretty ok
| |
after seeing them live with Ben Harclerode on drums, this band is on a whole new level which i think a lot of people will be surprised by
| |
Hmmmm pretty good, looking forward to the new album. Phil is pretty good as usual.
| |
"Phil Bozeman is the only person I like from this band." [2]
| |
Song is ok. At least they dropped whatever they were doing on that ep.
| |
They are getting better with each release
yeah, maybe their next album will be a 2/5
| |
Was actually pretty sweet.
| |
not bad.
| |
"They are getting better with each release" [2]
| |
"They are getting better with each release"
Nah, nope.
| |
sounds different
| |
It seems like the bigger a deathcore band gets the more they start sounding like Slipknot.
| |
i enjoy that bands eventually mature out of songs based on, or just around breakdowns.
| |
This band is horrible, overproduced, absolute mainstream trash. So robotic and lifeless, these pieces of shit don't deserve to be called artists.
| |
Cool another album to 1.

Cool another album to 1. [2]
| |
sputnik not completely dismissing this as terrible?
| |
I enjoy some Whitechapel in my coffee from time to time.

| |

sheeple
| |
So they like tried to combine Meshuggah and Slipknot with that middle-ish part. What. No. Go away.
| |
They still have 2 too many guitarists.
| |
Have a soft spot for Whitechapel so this could be good. Song was pretty decent
| |
I actually kinda enjoyed that.
| |
"They still have 2 too many guitarists."
Indeed.
| |
So that wasn't Corey Taylor in the middle? Da fuck?
| |
guess not
| |
Stoked
| |
I actually like A New Era Of Corruption. Not diggin this song though.
| |
Yeah, ANEOC is sweet.
| |
it's all right. not very impressed though. the spoken part was kind of wtf and not sure how i feel about the self-titling and the non-threatening album art. can't drop that shit from the gimmick. i expected to see more made up words like necromechanical and messiahbolical haha.
| |
agreed KSK
| |
Is it me or do i hear alittle bit of Tool or maybe Meshuggah influences this time around? i think the song was better than anything from their last album. By a long shot. This album has potential to be awesome. I'm a "has been" when it comes to being a fan of Whitechapal, their last album ruined that for me...maybe this one will be the one to put me back in place.
| |
OH YEAH
My inner Bro right now is stoked
| |
Better than usual.
| |
I'm going to assume that all the lyrics are about how Phil hates religion and humanity.
Call me Phil-strodamous
| |
Let this be the day that I stop to care and pour my hate upon this world
Look me in the eyes, tell me you don't feel the same anymore
Look me in my fucking eyes
Fuck what you think
I'm so sick of all these people pretending like they don't have a darkness, all they harness is light
Where there is love there is hate and all the things that coincide blind our eyes and take over our minds
I am hate you are hated, I've created you've created
Now get it through your fucking head, we create hate
Perfection is neglected now it's rough around the edges and the lesson that we've learned; we have neglected ourselves
Cram it down your throat and choke
| |
"death metallers"
FUCK
| |
@eulogize Phil-strodomus strikes again!
| |
i sorta like this band but goddamnit the whisper part was unbearable. i didn't think there was anything particularly interesting about the song overall either.
| |
On top of not liking the song too much, I think it's kinda dumb that they're putting Section 8 on this. There's only 10 songs and that one was released months ago. Also, self titled albums are lame unless it's a debut. And even then blahhhh.
| |
New song is not good at all... Sigh
| |
Also, self titled albums are lame unless it's a debut. [2]
| |
boo this band!
| |
"death metallers"
FUCK
[2]
| |
nice band picture lol
| |
I enjoyed the song while it lasted. It seems like they are going to a more technical side. That's a good improvement on the riffing department. But, i am looking forward to what they have in store.
| |
honestly this band should just go back to writing songs about killing hookers and shit so at least theres something mildly entertaining about them.
| |
CRAM IT DOWN YOUR THROAT AND CHOKE
| |
whitechapel more like whitenipples
| |
"death metallers"
FUCK
[3]
| |
Liked the song though.
| |
I find it amusing how one of their members posted a comment about how they're not going to keep re-writing the same album, and people who want that can go fuck themselves, when this sounds like all their other damn albums
| |
except not really
| |
if you think this sounds like old whitechapel then you are mistaken
| |
"when this sounds like all their other damn albums"
not sure if deaf or...
| |
This sounds nothing like their old stuff. Lyrically it's not the same either.
| |
