News is a few days old, but what the hell
| |
why would it be necessary to re-release the original album along with the remixes? seems like they're only doing this so people will actually buy the new tracks and mixes.
| |
could be good

You just answered your own question. I mean, why does any band release special editions of their albums? Plus at the end of the day they're giving exposure to up-and-comers like Kito, as well as introducing their fans to other great artists
| |
i don't like it any more when other artists/bands do it either. this is what label samplers are for.
| |
Samplers ain't exactly going to help DJs who wish to spin the tunes
| |
why is that
| |
Because most samplers typically don't have the entire song, just a sample of it. Kinda hard to mix one of those in if you don't have access to the full thing
| |
those are lame samplers then. i really just want them to release a new album is all.
| |
They were around for 7 years before they dropped their LP. I hope you're patient
| |
ugh
| |
This type of music doesn't work the same as other genres man, it's about the songs not the albums
| |
yes
| |
I'll probably get this somehow. That 16bit remix is sick.
| |
Yeah the 16 bit remix of machine gun is fucking sick!
| |
Hopefully the remixes are dope.
| |
Lol, a whole bunch of new material and you guys talk about the one that's been out for 2 years
| |
The Kito and Loadstar remixes are both awesome
| |
The Kito mix is interesting, like it's definitely the most "out there" thing she's done but can't really say I dig it. BSE and Upbeats ace it though
| |
Some of the remixes are pretty good.
| |
Looks like a waste of time.
| |
Idk, I'll pick it up for sure.
| |
Tracks 12 and 13 are near classics so I'd probably end up doing the same.
| |
I'll just download this, already have the LP on vinyl
| |
^That's what I meant
Yellow Brick needs some more action though, whether through remixing or just going on an album.
| |
Nah, no one should touch that gem
| |
Yeah that track is some kind of beast. Definitely my favourite one in the entire style of music.
| |
I still kinda prefer 'Raar' though
| |
I like that one too, but the chord progression mixed with all the filtering and modulation on Yellow Brick cannot be beat. At least when it comes to just personal listening.
| |
Lol Dev, that's the only remix from this I heard. I'm assuming the others are better? Haha
| |
Sounds pretty sweet, any new noisia material is good news
| |
i have wanted to buy this album since it came out. altho i suppose i coulda bought it online, i foolishly looked in record stores...nice to know i will get a bonus cd out of it too
| |
Fuckin love Black Sun Empire. "Hyper Sun" is one of my fav dubstep tracks and all their dnb stuff is sweet too.
| |
Listening to them now, they're so underrated
| |
Call it the Nagasaki Edition
| |
Dammit, bought Could This Be and Tommy's Theme off Beatport last week. Wish I had patience.
| |
Don't buy anything off beatport, they're normally waaaaay too expensive

This, unless it's an exclusive that you need right then and there.
| |
Current Value's remix is the best of a (mostly) bad bunch
| |
Better than 12? I don't think so.
