I fail to see the relevancy of sea's statement. Anyhow ill probably give this a listen, Animal was fascinating it was akin to the Transformers 2 of music.

I've never got the feeling that Kesha feels her music is of some vital importance though, which is endearing. While gaga is off trying to convince the world her music has some artistic merit, Kesha is just a slack-az party girl

Andcas - I love Beautiful Drity Rich, but anyway I agree with you that Lady GaGa's work is seen as amazing without little thought. Case in point the demo for Telephone done by Britney Spears (who was given the song, but her label rejected it just like Umbrella) people bashed the demo because well it was done by Britney yet Lady GaGa's version was seen as perfection.

Funny thing is before Lady GaGa became a music religion I was really into her yet was made fun of for liking a slut and listening to dance . . . pop whatever her music is called. About a year later those same people are bragging about how great and in love they are with her. By that time I had seen her as a hybird monster of other musicians, but understood her marketing and ability to get people to talk about her. She wanted to be super fucking famous and had achieved that.

My roommates a Gaga fanatic, to say the least. I wake up to "Alejandro" every single morning, roll over, and am met by four good-sized posters of Lady Gaga on the opposite wall. I go get a shower, and come back to hear Gaga, usually "Just Dance" but sometimes something different like the acoustic version or Glee versions of her songs. I don't mind Gaga in the right settings, but God does it get bad sometimes.
