Yellowcard Reform

2010-08-03 by fromtheinside | 41 Comments
Pop Punk wonders Yellowcard have ended their hiatus, and announced a new record is currently in the works through their new label Hopeless Records. A statement was released through the labels website with Ryan Key stating: "We’re talking about a ton of different ideas, and we’re itching to start as soon as possible ... Ultimately, we want to make something the fans will love. What we love to do most, is look out from the stage and see people exploding with energy, and I think we keep that in mind while we are writing. We miss being out on the road playing for Yellowcard fans all around the world, and without their support we wouldn’t have a career."

Yellowcard are also scheduled to headline a tour in the spring of next year through Australia.

I like what I've heard from these guys. Paper Walls I think, whichever album had The Takedown on it, that song rules.

I'm pretty excited for this, as long as they don't take the Linkin Park approach to making something new and good, the album should be pretty tight. And yes, the drummer is fantastic. I'd say him and the singer make this band. And of course the violinist

Yeah, it will be interesting to see if they continue on in the same vein or try to reinvent themselves. I'd actually prefer the former in this case.
