I was hoping the album wouldn't be called that
Mainly because they're breaking the one-word title streak. With something to do about nature. This Message Edited On 08.20.06

Can't wait for this.

YES!

HELLS YEAH!
I can't wait for this. I just bought Oceanic Friday and I love it.
EDIT: They also have some cover art for it up on ipecac.com....I'm not too crazy about it.This Message Edited On 08.20.06

Isis is like the good version of Tool
|

I'd almost have to agree with you, pixiesfanyo.
Except I like Tool, but Isis more.
|
| |
Are you sure they're not lying about the title?
Heheheheh, I just made my day.
|

Dulcinea owns, John.
The full title is 'In the Absence of Truth,' and there's a tracklisting up on the net.

Wow, improved clean vocals. I'm looking forward. Too bad they strayed from the beautiful electronics, that made Panopticon. This Message Edited On 08.21.06

Yeah, they're good because ISIS isn't played on the radio and has less fans than Tool. You're right. :thumb:
Anyways, I didn't know Isis was on Ipecac. Their Mike Patton connection gets them more street cred in my book.

How does that in anyway make them good. Anyway, a very good track, looking forward for this album.

can't decide if i like the new voice...in a way it's a bit too james hetfield for my liking...
beautiful as usual though....i reckon these guys write the most unvbelievably beautiful and melodic music and somehow manage to get it to be rough enough to scare away little children at the same time...

The album title is terribly generic.
The song sounds great though. Can't wait for this, even though I admittedly miss their old concepts.

Muisee - That was tongue in cheek directed at pixiefansyo...Just FYI.

Damn, I cant get the link to work. It just comes up as page not found. Can anybody find another link to this song?
|
| |
... go to the isis myspace?
|

Love the new song. Actually caught it live on the opener at Nassau Coliseum with Tool. I almost loved the opener more than the main act! Almost...

I've heard the whole album already... really good drum-work. Definitely their best album technically. I'd say it's on par with Oceanic... better instrumentation and more consistant, but not as conceptual or emotional IMO.
Not as good as Panopticon...but hell, what is?

how does panopticon have anything to do with nature? This Message Edited On 10.21.06
