Yeah, their other projects fail to match up to Up The Bracket. I enjoyed Waterloo to Anywhere for a while, but his voice is starting to grate on me. Hopefully the Libertines reform sometime, and make up for producing a shoddy second album.

barat's music is mediocre at best, and docherty is completely devoid of talent. fucking skaghead.
i hope they dont reform, i hope babyshambles break up, and as far as dirty pretty things go, im not bothered, they can carry on or break up, i really dont care. all of them are overrated by most ppl (and im not just judging by the drugs here, i've actually listened to them).

Think that the Libertines reuniting would fail to live up to the reputation they have. I hope they know that quittin while they are ahead with two good albums, which were helped by the tensions that existed within the band, was for the best. I still care for Doherty. Sure, Babyshambles aren't much to write about and he can be a complete arse at times but he's still got the potential and the talent left to do something amazing. If he died tomorrow (which with his current lifestyle, is quite certain) I'd be gutted. Doherty was the brains behide two of the best British albums of the last 20 years and his work with The Libertines pretty much broke down the barriers for British Guitar music in the 21st century. Respect

My friends will probably go crazy if the Libertines get back together. Personally I really really don't like this band, although I used to. Plus I do believe that Pete Doherty is the biggest asshole in music history.
