I think that's because he kinda just improvises in the studio instead of trying to write a bunch of songs beforehand.

He probably spends more time on song names than the actual songs...

he's a crazy and innovative guitar player but all his stuff is straight up wank. there isn't a whole lot going on otherwise.

Yeah, seriously. Even if he was well known, he would still not make too much money. Most people are not going to trade coherent songwriting for 8 finger tapping and slap bass.

Who knows, maybe it'll be an Electric Tears-style album and he's just trying to mislead us with these song titles/album name. Or maybe it'll be another Elephant Man's Alarm Clock-level album.

was getting worried about poor bucky, the last thing he put out was in may... ;) will probably review once I get my hands on this. 2009 was a good year thus far, when it comes to studio (not remix... yes, forensic follies, that means you) albums

Saw him last night...I was really hoping this would be on sale...but it wasn't. Now I have to order it if it isn't on itunes.

You make it quite clear that you've never actually listened to buckethead. his songs rarely even have 8 finger tapping...or slap bass for that matter. Don't bother trying to argue with me, I own all of his albums and will prove you wrong...so like I said, don't bother.

Easy now. Go take a cold shower or something. Buckethead's got you all flush and defensive.

I guess it's easier to try and criticize me than bother to make a point refuting my post? So tell me how I'm wrong instead of trying, and failing, to insult me.

I assume Astral Traveler is a cover of the GHS tune of the same name. I always liked that song, so it'll be interesting to hear what he does with it. It has a fairly elaborate and quite impressive bass solo in the middle of it... I have to wonder if he'll just shred over it.

I used to own a roor just like the one in your picture. My guitar was leaning against the wall and it fell over and broke it.

Music stands save lives. Why put such a masterpiece next to an object liable to fall down? You must have been high.

yeah finally someone agrees. I'm a guitarist, but this guy does nothing for me. Sure he has mastered the instrument, but its all wank.
