Slash And Izzy Reunite

2009-06-01 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 13 Comments
Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has confirmed that former bandmate Izzy Stradlin will appear on his upcoming solo album.

Slash has been updating fans on the recording of his debut solo album via Twitter, and posted the following message this afternoon: " Izzy is down here putting some rhythm gtr on a track, sounds fucking cool."

The album also features core members in drummer Josh Freese (briefly a member of Guns N' Roses following Slash's departure) and Jane's Addiction's Chris Chaney on bass. Confirmed guests include Ozzy Osbourne, M Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold and former Guns drummer Steven Adler.

Yes...Slash hasn't been popular since Appetite! No wait...he's remained consistently popular for over a decade.

Yeah, increasingly forgettable ventures like Slash's Snake Pit and Velvet Revolver were a step in the right direction. If Slash keeps it up, people may listen to his solo album for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!

Can Steven Adler even play the drums anymore? Somewhat surprised to see him on the album, then again the choice of M. Shadows is....questionable...

Yeah, I wouldn't really care about a GnR reunion cause Chinese Democracy was so awesome.

Some artists just were meant to die in a coke fueled blaze of glory. For shame.
