The KoRn is ill

2006-06-13 by Damrod EMERITUS | 21 Comments
In the middle of the European festival summer, in which Nu-Metal band KoRn wanted to play a major role in, has to come out without said band.

After feeling very weak before and after the gig at the "Rock am Ring"-festival in Germany, Johnathan Davis attended a doctor who diagnosed the blood-disease ITP (Wikipedia article on ITP). The disease is an infection caused by allergic reactions.

The infections could have turned out for the worst for Davis, as because of the infection the thrombocytopenia count falls and falls. This could lead to hemorrhages and resulting death. Davis: "If I had kept headbanging on stage, I could have got a cerebral hemorrhage and dropped dead right there on the spot."

As his blood values keep getting better, Davis could be back on stage in about 2 weeks according to the doctors.

Uh, I care. I don't want the dude to die. If you want him to die just because you don't like his music, that's just sick. This Message Edited On 06.13.06

wheither you like Korn or not, anyone who knows enough about the people behind the band would know that they are great guys with great personalites. I hope John Davis gets better, cause he's one of my favorite people in music.

I mean it sux that he could die, i would never wish that on anyon....wait, scratch that last one. But if Korn broke up, I don't care, someone dies, thats shitty. There are 2 Jon is sick stories here. It's not really that big a story. I'm sure he'll be ok...

They got guests to sing for him at download. They got M Shadows to sing for one song, and he was such an arrogant tit and not brilliant. But Matt Hefey did well on another song.

Hope he gets better.

Avenged seriously fits the whole "Look at us we are on a major label and get to hang out with all these cool people" sterotype. They think they are just the hottest stuff to come around. It makes me sick despite the fact that their music is good.

That aside I hope the guy gets better.

He is just stating the truth Drunken Viking. As much as I like A7x, they are so up themselves since CoE that if they were to take a crap their heads would explode. I used to dig Korn...I don't now but I hope Jon Davis will be alright.

I've never heard any of the members being full of themselves. In any interview I've read or anytime I've seen them they've only thanked the crowd for being there and saying that there fans were awesome. I guess different things can be interpreted different ways.
