The track is pretty good. Gerard did well, I only wish he had more presence overall.

It’s one of the most tense games I’ve ever played starting out but I finally got in the groove of it, yknow where every enemy doesn’t make me shit through my pants. In other words I’m just shy of a full mag with my pistol and nothing else… but that’s better than what I started out with lol

Graphics are insane, performance is pretty much perfect on my base PS5, Grace is a great character so far with a very tragic and upsetting backstory, and I’m gay for Leon. The dual protagonist approach is brilliant, not an original idea at all for gaming, but combining the RE2/7 style of lite stealth survival horror with the action heavy masterpiece that is RE4 is seriously a fucking stroke of genius. Just when the tension as Grace ratchets up to an unbearable degree we swap to Leon and let loose on some zombies, but his action heavy sections are almost their own kind of puzzle, the way you approach encounters has to be tactical, if you try to play it like it’s Call of Duty you’re not gonna be long for this world.

I feel like I’m about a third of the way in and if the game can keep this momentum going it will literally be one of the best games ever made and might even dethrone the RE4 remake as the best survival horror game I’ve ever played.
