Vocalist does the same inflection on every vowel and it gets old in a hurry. This has promise but ain't it yet.

is there a word or less clunky phrase for "I'm kinda digging this in the moment, but I would absolutely never sit down to listen to it or put it on my headphones while I'm walking/commuting"?
