Wanted to dislike this, but it's quite pleasant.

ZzzzZZzZzZzzzz....

Sounds like classic Foo Fighters.
|
| |
I mean it's better than the other one, but the lyrics are pretty lame, even though I think it's probably a bit personal considering what he went through recently with loss

Sounds like classic Foo Fighters. [2]
Opening/bridge riff sounds like "Flavor of the Week" by American Hi-Fi

this band is what AI would created if asked to do "generic rock"
|
| |
this band is what AI would listen to
|
| |
those comments are what AI would make if they needed a modern rock band to target about sounding like by AI rock
|
| |
^ that comment is what AI would say when someone offends its taste in music
|
| |
I heard AI’s taste in music
it sounds unsettling and random
|

You hear AI's taste in music everyday

then you and I are the same then

As an AI language model, I don't have the ability to listen to or perceive music in the same way humans do. I don't have auditory capabilities or sensory experiences. However, I have been trained on a vast amount of textual data, including lyrics, music-related information, and discussions about music. I can provide information and insights about music based on the text-based knowledge I've acquired.

u came to the right place

Part of me acknowledges the simplicity of the lyrical quality here, considering the subject matter - but eh, it's definitely a 'me' problem if I expect groundbreaking lyrics from Foo Fighters. This song is honestly really good for a short and simple alt rock single. The harmonies in the verses are pleasant to hear.

Foo Fighters is one of those bands that I never seek out but I'm not rushing to change the station if it comes on. Could do a lot better and a lot worse. The band seems cool though. Can't hate em.
|
| |
Incredibly boring.
|
| |
Foo Fighters were always to me a great singles band with the occasional good B-side. Now I'm finding even their singles are bland.
|
| |
Foo Fighters were always to me a great nothing band

Maybe it's too early to say, but this album will be a snoozefest.
|
| |
First two albums had their moments, snoozefest since then. DG has been on autopilot for over two decades it seems (or maybe he strives for middle of the road rock). Kurt had the best tunes ;)
|
| |
IDK, I miss the ''Best of you vibe'', they never did return to that.
|
| |
Loving this even if the lyrics sound like they were written by Vennu Malesh
|
| |
best of you was the last thing these dudes did that was worth listening to.
|
| |
was cool to see grohl had frank black's first solo album on an all time greatest list even though i disagree
|
| |
I mean it's radio rock. "it's not memorable" What did you guys expect?
|
| |
decent song, chorus is a bit dull
