Trenches Release Reckoner

2022-01-04 by cvlts | 20 Comments
Metalcore/Post-Metal act Trenches have released their sophomore alum Reckoner.

Reckoner is the follow-up to their debut album The Tide Will Swallow Us Whole, which was released in 2008 via Solid State Records. Trenches have been slowly dropping hints of a new album throughout the years, and now the wait is finally over.

Cant believe they came back after 10+ years and dropped the album and its just as good, if not better than the first one.

Tide was the album that bridged that hot topic shit with post-metal to me. Certainly helped that Wavering Radiant dropped a year later lol

Jimmy Ryan of Haste the Day is/was the vocalist for Trenches, if anyone didn't happen to know. Tide was a great record.
