This is so catchy damn. But it shouldn’t be 5 minutes long even though there aren’t any parts of it that were bad

I like Coheed, but this didn’t do anything for me at all.

I guess it's better than Shoulders but i'm really not sure i'm on board for the direction they're going with this new record.

Man, remember when those first 3 albums came out? Good times.

Also Dear God the visual style they've employed on these last few albums looks so awful

Their first three albums are the only great material they’ve put out.

The song is better without watching the video, the video in this case distracts from the song, but yes the first three albums are absolute classics

4th album is only slightly not as good as the first 3, this song did nothing and i couldnt make it halfway through

I know no one on Sputnik gives a shit about the story, but it feels like with these new characters they might be retconning the events of The Amory Wars and I not about that.

Also yes... I don't think this Vaxis series has been as strong as the original four.

I personally thought their last album was their best since FFTtEoM. That being said, this and Shoulders aren't getting me very excited for Vaxis - Act 2. They're alright I guess, at least I don't hate them.

Haven’t listened yet and don’t really like much of their recent output but Claudio having even a bad voice, let alone the worst voice in rock, is an awful opinion - dude can belt out a chorus with the best of them

I don't think people are talking about his ability when they're talking about his voice. Dude is obviously a good singer, but I don't like his voice. Reminds me of that 2000s indie/emo trend where dudes started singing in higher pitch.

Very catchy, but this is very plastic-y like most of the songs off of Vaxis.

At least "Shoulders" had gruff and an Afterman-esque appeal to it. I'm not writing it off too much, mostly because I'm a stan of this band - but even I will admit to my cutoff being Afterman: Decension in terms of really diving into the sounds they offer.

At the end of the day, I'm glad they're still making tunes because their vibe is still very addictive. Kudos to the guys still jamming. Josh Eppard's drumming is the best thing about this song.

sorry you're right, Brian Johnson has the worst Rock voice of all time, promptly followed by Axl Rose, Claudio takes a bit of getting used to you gotta admit

I prefer Shoulders. I feel like this one is leaning back into the same tropes which bothered me about Vaxis 1. It's lacking any 'punch'. Song is fine but I just wished it hit me like their earlier albums did. Feels a lot like Toys for me with more chaotic instrumentation.

First 4 albums are flawless and I doubt they’ll ever match it again but this still rips and so does Shoulders. They’re yet to release a shit album.

Almost everything Coheed for the past decade has been congealed soylent Coheed product: made from real Coheed but altered to become something else entirely. Abomination.

First chorus was great. Hated everything else, especially the primary riff.
