New Black Veil Brides single, LP

2021-06-04 by MaryBabko | 31 Comments
American hard rock band Black Veil Brides have released a new song from their upcoming studio album, The Phantom Tomorrow.

The song, "Crimson Skies", showcases influence from more recent metalcore bands, before launching into typical chorus-fueled rock.

The Phantom Tomorrow is slated for an October 29th release.

Lol they pushed the album’s release date back like 3 months so they could get make merch and comic books for this album.

This band just sounds so gross. Idk. This isn’t god awful but it’s so generic and uninteresting, I can’t imagine being passionate about something and having the end product sound like this.

Seems like the graphic novel album cover is becoming more prevalent now in metalcore

Man they've really been struggling with wrapping up a chorus this time around.

I've always tried to like these guys. They have decent instrumentals and melodies. It's just when that voice kicks in... subjective I guess.

“Yeah whatever happened to snide”

He quit Sputnik, deleted all his self promoting lists for his shitty music and told mods to ban him if he ever came back. I’m sure he still lurks around though.

Tie-in comics? Band trying to be Coheed & Cambria, or something?

Regardless of my thoughts on the song (eats ass) I would never begrudge a band in 2021 trying to make extra money off merchandising and flogging tat, since most of their income likely comes from touring.

I'd buy a Claudio Sanchez pop vinyl.

What prompted Snide to do all that?

Ah thanks. Always did feel bad when people went hard on his music, not like he was hurting anyone

it was a result of his abrasive personality more than his music

(though it was also not good)

he calls people on the website elitist despite having the same attitude most poster around here had.

He also had a lot of meme worthy takes (not just music) and did a lot of meme worthy stuff. Like that time he faked getting married?

Didn’t one of his friends get groped by that dude from blood on the dance floor and he still defended him? Not to mention he would come up with ridiculous shit to get attention on his lists and music.

well officially "parted ways" before and then his creepiness came out a few months later, take that as you will. The new Bassist is a sweetheart, was a BVB fan before and is fully wholesome

Not gonna lie I don't hate this at all. Production kinda sucks but overall it's fun. It's a great chorus and Andy sounds really good in it. Verses are meh.

I've always had fun with these guys when they go slightly heavier. Nothing extraordinary but it's good enough for a few spins.
