Vocals have definitely improved. I like the clarity of the instruments, too, even if the production loses a bit of that grit

Having the drums be more prominent than the guitars was a good move, this sounds really dynamic compared to the original.

Are they only re-recording one song?

I believe they stick to this song only.

The beauty of 'The Crusher' is that it has the atmosphere and spirit of the north. I really appreciate the original production. 'The Avenger' has slightly weaker production, and 'Once Sent' is actually hard to listen to.
Might be worthwhile for Amon Amon to just re release the first 3 albums because they'll sound fresh to all the new fans who are younger than those albums lol

One of the main reasons I'm not a big fan of The Crusher (or The Avenger or Versus the World) is because they sound like they were recorded underwater. The production on this is fantastic.

Versus the World is an amazing album but the production isn't great. If it sounded like this, it'd be incredible.
