Tie My Rope was ok but i was hoping it wouldnt be on the next album. Looks like this will be a disapointment.

its weird how they've been going down hill since there other guitar player left, the guy that was on hate crew deathroll and back, I never would of thought he had so much to do woth the songs, or alexi just wanted to get shitty, that new song kinda sucked

Alot of bands are overrated but that dosent mean they suck. Opeth is overrated as well and their sick.Cob rules.

Tie My Rope is a pretty awful song.

I like these guys, but i think the new album is gunna suck. Tie My Rope was pretty horrible.

Well, they have kind of released the same album about 5 times.

Tie my rope was better than Living Dead Beat and if You want peace imo.

The second half of Tie My Rope was pretty sweet, but the first part wasn't too hot.

I'll always give CoB a chance, but lately they've been going downhill. I want the older stuff back, and I'm sure the majority of their fan base does.

A majority of their fanbase is also deathly afraid of change and refuses to accept anything without neoclassical guitar, so their opinions are worthless.

I will get this. CoB albums always have a few songs that are awesome.

I doubt it. Every song off of AYDY is miles ahead of Tie My Rope. I was hoping that that song was only going to be used for that Bam Margera crap kind of like knuckleduster in a way.

I enjoy In Flames alot. Colony and Clayman own but i should get around to buying whoracle. Still I enjoy Dark Tranquillity more. The Gallery is up with Colony.

I actually liked Tie My Rope (mainly the second half, the solo, and the keyboard break). The song names are pretty lame, though.

And In Flames definitely owns Dark Tranquillity. In Flames' songwriting is more diverse and the guitar work is far more creative. The vocals on old In Flames material are also far better. Basically, I believe Dark Tranquillity is kind of a non-evolving one trick pony whereas In Flames have changed their sound with every album and the songwriting varies a lot.

Yeah, god forbid a Metal band should try and evolve.

I like for bands to evolve, but most of the time when a band evolves, their sound just happens to go in a much more commercialized direction.

If bands dont evolve, I dont listen to them.............except for Slayer and Cannibal Corpse hahahaha!

AYDY was a step down and I felt Tie My Rope was just as bad. Who knows though, this album could be better than we all expect............................hype much hahaha!

In total agreement with Eakflanderyof. When some metal bands "evolve" they just end up being commercialised and sell outs. A pitty really
