Carcass debut new track

Iconic extreme metallers Carcass released a brand new track, 'The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue', taken from their upcoming EP Despicable, out October 30th, via Nuclear Blast.

Stream 'The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue' official video below.

“Well the Covid situation has put the release of the new CARCASS album on the back burner for the time being. Given that we said there’d be new music in August we thought it would be cool to have a stop gap release and let you hear some of the tracks that never quite made the cut. Don’t say we never give you anything. Enjoy." – Jeff Walker

Despicable tracklist:

1. The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue
2. The Long And Winding Bier Road
3. Under The Scalpel Blade
4. Slaughtered In Soho

Paused La Isla Bonita for this. Was worth it, good song. The drop Z tuning sounds really good

So these are tracks deemed not good enough for the next album?

Sounds fine on Spotify, YouTube quality is always bad tbh.

Cool b-side, pumped for the new LP when it eventually drops.

this was better than expected, some nice riffs and a bit more dynamic than stuff off surgical steel/its b-sides

not bad, but makes me want to jam Heartwork. That breakdown part is so strangely thin sounding in execution. Stoked to hear some new Carcass tunes either way

Pretty much thrash by numbers, like the last album.
