I like Solway Firth the best too, but this isn't too far behind it imo. Unsainted had me worried, it didn't really do much for me.

yeah homie, not sure if I'm allowed to say where it leaked but it's out there. should be easy to find. after one listen I had mixed feelings, then after the second listen it was all I could think about haha. There's a lot to unpack and it's gonna be a grower. Biggg time

also just wanna say, Unsainted is literally the only song of that nature on the album. it's commercial as fuck, but at least it's the only one.

Will have to listen to it again, but I thought it was great on first listen but there were definitely a few songs that made me raise an eyebrow aha - not in a bad way, just in a "what in the fuck are they doing here" kind of way. Have no idea where this ranks yet. Will rejam in a few minutes.

Agreed. I was very turned off by Spiders at first, but then I saw people comparing it to NIN, then I listened again, and realized it's actually pretty fucking cool and catchy.

Speaking of, I am pleasantly surprised by the lyrics this time around. There are a couple of cringy moments, but they're scarce.

Yeah, like 3. The rest of the album is completely forgettable and boring and is a slog to get through. WANYK doesn't have a single bad track besides Unsainted.

Unsainted is ok, but yeah, it's the weakest of the bunch. That speaks volumes about the overall quality of the album.

There's a lot of riff-based stuff coming out but I kind of miss those soaring choruses.

Unsainted is fine, but yeah it may be the weakest here tbh. The constant repeating of the chorus gets grating, kind of like it did with Devil In I for me (one of the most irritating songs on that album - it was basically JUST a chorus lol)

And yeah, Sarcastrophe, AOV, Negaative One, Nomadic, etc are all solid as fuck. Album is AT LEAST 65-75% good stuff, but yeah there are some shit songs there as well so I'll give you that. This new one is absolutely better.
