New Lindemann Track

2018-12-19 by hobblepot | 28 Comments
Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has released a new track under his solo moniker Lindemann, titled "Mathematik". The track is a vast departure from the projects previous sound, ditching the industrial metal for trap rap, and features fellow German artist Haftbefehl.

The track appears to have stirred some controversy, with the comments being disabled for the video, which you can view below.

With this being a project from Lindemann, the video is obviously NSFW:

Til has been ripping trap since before Soundcloud's balls dropped. Respect this filth, peasant!

twas okay besides the guest rapping but dunno if it's something i'd ever be excited to listen to again, just makes me want another rammstein record more than anything

can’t deny it’s catchy, guest vocals suck though. Rammstein have always been very tongue in cheek, Til has said a couple times this solo project is meant to be much more humorous

It's honestly not bad, not good either mind you. The guest vocals kill it a little, but I think it's a cool u-turn. Hopefully not s reflection of the sophomore album, but judging Till's usual antics, this is probably satire.

What? All his videos and Rammsteins' videos have comments disabled, always have.

If anything, people seem pissed at the rapper peddling edgy Migrant "Street Culture"

"Seeing Hafti on this site is not something I ever expected to happen." this.

I assume it's not to be taken seriously and basically only exists to provoke (just in vein of Rammstein/Till in general). Still kinda shit. Also, I can only hear "fick" so many times in a span of 4 minutes.

Till always makes me happy, regardless of whether I like the track or not. He's just such a hero. Glad he's still being himself and making music.

Surprisingly he's very introverted and quiet and serious off stage and all the wacky shit he does as performance.
