Iirc Perturbator wasn’t digging the current state of the synthwave scene so New Model ended up being far more industrial and and far less synthwave than his previous works

Doesn't seem like Perturby loves the genre when he so readily gives up on it even after he's already become a household name within it.

I loved his previous work, but New Model is easily the best thing he's done to date, so I'm not mad at all. Saw him live last week and stuff off New Model sounded dope as fuck.
