Someone on the fan reddit mentioned this sounds a bit like Prize Fighter Inferno mixed with Davenport Cabinet (Travis' other band), and I totally hear that.

This is the first album that I have been excited for since Year of the Black Rainbow, that album marked a digression in vision, but the songs from this album so far have been extremely promising.

The video game sounding intro takes me back to childhood memories of playing NES. Love these guys
