I AmeriKKKant believe it either..

Ah fuck I just posted a new article about the new song. This might just end up merged with it as I included the music video.
|
| |
TBF "I Know Words" is a great song title
|
| |
That video is embarrassing tbh
honestly sounds like Al just fucked around in the studio for a day and just told the engineers to just record him noodling around
|
| |
There's a song called 4Chan...
|
| |
The track reminds me of 90s Ministry so I'm OK
|
| |
added the video so that saves the clean-up crew some trouble
|
| |
Band have been shite for years
|
| |
I really want Ministry to release another good album, but there's probably a 10% chance that will ever happen again
|
| |
Last two albums were pretty bland agreed, but that song's not too bad... hoping for some more stuff like this. Btw if the new album means they'll go on tour again I'm more than fine with it, saw them last year and they were still powerful and energetic af.
|
| |
^^ well they just got off a tour with Death Grips and played a lot of this new stuff
|
| |
Nobody cares about this shitty band.
|
| |
Nuclear Blast why u do this to us?
|
| |
Five words, like a beacon of light in the mist:
"Ministry live at the Ritz"
It was Christ has risen to Chris
3 loaves, 2 fish
Miracle of mechanized loops on 2-inch
Coming to a theater he would be there in the flesh
Moms didn't say "No," but she didn't say "Yes"
Cop tickets, ah the plot thickens
Countdown to ultimate concert experience
Ma still wary
"...and why are they called Ministry?! Are they a cult?!..."
Maybe she would properly investigate
Bought a mag with an Al Jourgensen interview
Read a couple sentences, glanced at a pic or two or three
That's all, no fair trial
Simply, "You will not be going to the show and that's final!"
|
| |
lol. This will be so damn bad. Can't wait for the likely gimmick tour with Brujeria.
|
| |
Band should've broke up after the release of Filth Pig.
|
| |
"If you’re in the mood for an insanely repetitive song that simultaneously shames the right while glorifying the worst parts of the left, well then, have Ministry got a song for you!" - MetalSucks
I'm always divided on Antifa as, in Europe anyway, Antifa has done a lot of good, especially in parts of Germany and Italy which have had consistent problems with neo-Nazi and fascist people coming to it due to Hitler and Mussolini's legacies. In America, though, it's trash. Musically, it returns to 90s industrial Ministry and while it's nowhere near the level that output was, it's still a welcome change from the thrash approach they've had since at least the Bush trilogy.
|
| |
I know at first glance it seems corny as all hell, but I can respect them for getting into subjects like this without any sort of filter, especially one as divisive as Antifa
|
| |
The context I know of Antifa is America and that Antifa does not usually do what its mission statement claims it is doing. They usually START violence at places that aren't exactly Nazi rallies, just events with speakers who aren't sucking Karl Marx's cock.
But Al's political views have basically been that of a drunken college freshman for his entire career now.
|
| |
Talking about Brujeria, back in january i bought their latest release Pocho Aztlan (didn't listened to it in that ocasion) trusting in their catalog and yeah.....it was a waste of money.
|
| |
I think they're on Nuclear Blast as well. Apparently that label is really going after the sideshow acts.

ok so first thing that needs to be said here is there is no general antifa organisation, it's simply the ideology of anti-fascist thought which comprises many different kinds of people and many different kinds of voters - throough charity work in my local area ive met a local anti-fascist group, and literally none of them could hurt a fly - most were at least in their late 40s and one of them was interestingly enough a ukip voter so make of that what you will. Secondly, half this shit you hear about 'antifa' is complete lies. There are a very small militant portion of people who have been violent before (and that's even if you count destroying property as violence) , but the vast majority of this sudden anti-antifa attitude is sponsored by alt-right nutbags who are simply scared of people opposing them and want o cuddle up in their little safe spaces away from anyone who might challenge them.

oh boy the comment section under the video...
|
| |
it's always a surprise that Al J is still alive
dude has about a million miles logged on his body
|
| |
Another Ministry new wave album when
|
| |
He's kept himself alive by feasting on Layne Staley's soul which he traded for heroin.
|
| |
i saw him at death grips/ministry tour and he asked our group who we where there to see and we said death grips and he looked mad
|
| |
@Sinternet - I have not met those antifa members, but that's great to hear that the majority of them are peaceful and that my perspective may be skewed based on the actions of a few. Although I have seen first hand how people who go under that title act in public places. I like to see public speakers so I travel around, and it's not COMPLETE bullshit that there are violent members who make security a necessity and not the rare Neo-nazis that don't even show up to most of these things (once again, I'm talking more Ben Shapiro than Richard Spencer).
But nevertheless, my opinion of Al's politics still stand. He also had a lot of conspiracy theory bullshit on that Rio album and that made me cringe like crazy. And his interviews, ugh...he really doesn't know as much about politics as he thinks he does.
|
| |
American Antifa is the one that gives it a bad image. European Antifa is pretty cool and laid back unless there are genuine Nazis around (and especially in Germany they like to march a lot in places where key Nazis lived/were born/are believed to be buried)

So laid back and c00l
|
| |
Well, Ministry have announced a new tour. Support comes from Chelsea Wolfe.
|
| |
Probably won't see them unless they only play 80s/early 90s shit exclusively and if all of the funds go to some charity that I would support.
|
| |
Well, during the European tour they brought back into the set some '90s songs ('Filth Pig', 'Supermanic Soul', 'Bad Blood'), which is cool, because there are many underrated tracks on Filth Pig and Dark Side of the Spoon. However, they'll probably be left out again in favor of the new songs IMO.
|
| |
The current setlist looks pretty great, many classics. I don't think they'll replace all of the great ones with new stuff. Past two gigs I went to they fortunately were pretty cautions with their new songs. Hoping for some Filth Pig stuff as well.
|
| |
lol what a fucking cunt
|
| |
I can almost understand naive 20 year olds doing the whole modern Antifa thing, but come on.
