Brooklyn-based post-rock / atmospheric sludge metal band Sannhet are streaming their newest, So Numb, ahead of its August 25th release date (from Profound Lore Records). The Independent described it as, "a powerful representation of the band’s internal conflicts, the original wound, self-destruction and the redemptive qualities they continue to seek for the rest of their lives," in a recent interview with bassist AJ Annunziata.

There's something lacking compared to their debut... although there's really something lacking from all their other releases I've heard compared to their debut.

I've only heard Known Flood and didn't like it at all. Will prob stay clear of this one.

Revisionist is and will always be one of the best blackened/post metal albums ever. I feel Known Flood was the template for something much greater. I've had this album for a while and it's good but definitely lacks something.
