Like doesn't it get boring to do the exact same boring shit for fifteen years, especially after coming from a decent band like Training for Utopia? They showed more creativity in four years than Demon Hunter has in their entire run

There's a way to do this song, but they didn't do it that way. This should have much more energy and a much bigger chorus but ffs that main riff is so meh the guitar itself seems bored while playing it. Whole thing needs to be faster and with a ton more energy. It feels like they don't even care. Sort of like on Trivium's "Vengeance Falls."

It's passable for demon hunter standards but I feel like all 3 of the tracks could benefit with a little more bass in the production. It all sounds too complacent.

4 singles. Cold Winter Sun, Jesus Wept, Half as Dead, and Died in my Sleep.

I like these guys more than most on this site, and I think they're last two albums were they're best material by a mile, but this is just plain uninspired. All the singles have been badly produced and lack any energy. Seeing a hard 2 if the singles are any indication.

Shocking that they're still going. In 2007 maybe they were an alright light-weight gateway band for 17-year-old me, but I can't believe they're still pumping out the same stagnant stuff. Is it a hesitancy to throw in the towel, or are they contractually obligated to make these albums until Rapture?
