Coincidentally enough, I was just listening to Unorthodox Jukebox today. Album has some catchy jams. I'm stuck at work and can't check out the new track yet though.

Really like this song on first listen. I am 100% for this '80s funk sound being the next big thing. I know it's going to get really old soon, but let me just revel in it for the time being.

So many big pop artists are doing some type of 80s thing (Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, Bruno Mars, among others) and it's been awesome.

It seems like Daft Punk/Pharrell really kicked this thing off back in 2013 with Get Lucky so I thank them for that.

I dig this. I also really like the vocal modulation in the intro.

And with that Bruno completely finished his transformation into a Las Vegas-entertainer.

I'm not complaining though, this song is two jams and a half for me. The beat-switch in the bridge might be one of my favourite pop-moments of 2016. Good stuff.

Dunno if anyone heard it, but Bruno just dropped a new song (Versace On The Floor) and its outstanding. Maybe Bruno finally has his homerun.

Not quite sure what to think of the track. Ballads aren't really Bruno's strength, but that cheesy '80s R&B sound is a guilty pleasure of mine. It has grown on me though from the first time I heard it. Really curious if this '80s retro stuff will populate the majority of this new record.

Bruno's ballads are the worst things about his music, but I think the cheesy 80s synthetic keys matches his voice a lot more than lil ol him and a boring piano. Also he isn't singing about a girl leaving him, just having some good ol sex, which is also a plus because When I Was Your Man is still abysmal.

Yeah, it's definitely an upgrade from songs like "When I Was Your Man". Plus, nothing hits the spot quite like a good ol' song about fucking.

Seems like the end of 2016 is the big break mainstream pop needed from its mediocrity between this and the upcoming Weeknd album.

tbh I haven't been too crazy about those Weeknd tracks. Starboy is decent enough, and False Alarm was...idk. it was a thing.

I liked the minimalistic approach to Starboy, not as in your face as anything on Beauty Behind The Madness and the vocoded vocals in the chorus were beautiful. False Alarm had to grow on me a bit, but I like its sound and style, incredibly unusual and I think it works.
